I felt Jasper was the most personable and willing to do stuff. That would get controllers enthused to see him dive right in. I wouldn’t mind if he was the winner.
Someone said that Will had a bit of too much alpha male in him but that might make it fun to make him do stuff he doesn’t really want to do to see how he’d react. I remember someone voting all night to make Tristan carry a baby doll all day LOL.

I was liking Will until I noticed that his left eye brow is very obviously larger than his right one, and then I snapped out of it and realized he’s just a walking ego. How is he going to be able to do what others want him to when he is so into himself? LOL. Kelly was alright until he totally turned me off with that goose humping move! Haha! But that probably means he would be really entertaining as the next subject. Jasper seems pretty cool. Nothing really stood out about him, but he wasn’t too boring or into himself either, so he could be a decent choice as well.

Well, even though I said Kelly could be the most interesting, something told me that Jasper could surprise us… so I ended up going with Jasper.
<3 Jasper's a lovable guy, and like Tristan I would have absolutely no problem tuning into his life on a daily basis. He's personable and interesting, and I want to get to know him better!
Will personally isn't my type, but he seems like he'd add a fun energy to the show. It would be like, ControlTV Gone Wild! But we already have a Jersey Shore we can watch for that kind of party.
Kelly is a sweetheart, and very much the kind of guy I'd want to take home to mom and dad. But if he's an EMS, should he really be on the show? Won't he have to like… rush off to save the day somewhere? I think his calling is outside of ControlTV (although I'm voting for him, oddly enough!)

It’s definitely not Will, who doesn’t seem to have much to offer besides 12.5, which leaves it between Jasper and Kelly. Kelly definitely looks like a nice guy and pounding the goose is pure magic, but I think Jasper takes it up a notch on the interesting level. Great track!

Anyone that claims their body is a 12.5 on a scale of 10 is a walking EGO and an idiot. Its good to know that there are two other contestants who are humble and have a lot more going for them than a “Smokin body” The polls will tell all. I’m not saying the guy isn’t sweet or nice….but humble? No. Egotistical? Yes.
Kelly you have my vote, I totally understand you needing to take a break from your EMS work, it can be exremely rewarding but leaves alot of baggage to be dealt with. Being a carer is tough work too and it strikes me that you seem to have spent your time helping others (which is very noble) instead of focusing on your ambitions like writing. I really hope you get this and find your new and exciting path, we all have a path and when we find it that is when we can do the most good, not just for ourselves but for others too.

Jasper – Definitely the most entertaining of the 3, with the most interesting story and best personality. He also has a long-term goal that he’s PASSIONATE about achieving, and if Control TV really is about enacting positive change in these peoples’ lives, let’s vote him on and help him reach his dream!
Will – Cookie cutter fraternity jock with a business degree #49877632, with no personality to boot. I agree with Lana: the most interesting thing about him is his protein-heavy breakfast? Please. He’s getting slaughtered in the voting for a reason. Hopefully his ego can take it.
Kelly – Nice enough guy, but is he -really- a good fit for reality television? Doesn’t seem entirely comfortable in front of a camera (as shown by his oddly timed laughter after saying that he can’t always save peoples’ lives on the job) and I feel like he would grow tiresome of the control element of the show after a while.
Don’t kid yourselves, Jasper is the ONLY choice.
His oddly timed laughing was due to the fact that he was about to cry which was not his intent, his statement was one of logic but emotions are not logical, clearly this is why he is taking a break. Its hard to lose someone, but he had to deal with that on a daily basis, and with the distressed people at the scene and things get a million times worse if the casualty is a child or if the person is conscious and alert but has zero chance of surviving. Yes it is just you and them but there is also a lot of panic and shock and grief at the scene to deal with too, to have walked away unaffected would be far more worrying. Clearly he was trying to play down the effect it had on him but his emotions just got the better of him.

Kelly: He seems like a super nice, super easy going guy, but not fun or interesting. I feel like he has a relatively blah life and doesn’t seem fit for this show. He moved to a secluded winter vacation town to get away from things. Doesn’t seem like a 24/7 camera in your face type of guy to me.
Will: This is the perfect person for this show. Who doesn’t want to control the alpha male’s life. I am not denying that he is very into himself and enjoys physical fitness, but i feel like that person would be the most fun to control. We can get to know him and put him in hilarious situations for the 6 weeks. The other guys would gladly do something silly or ridiculous and it wouldn’t invoke much of a reaction. Making Will do something ridiculous would be AWESOME!!!!!

Just my opinion here. The powers that be have made a major mistake. First, they put ControlTV S2 up against Big Brother. Second, they are letting a vote take place to help choose our victim
I will not watch CTV S2 if it conflicts with my Big Brother viewing, which is live feed 24/7 also. I was hoping they would run it after BB like last year.
Letting the viewers vote for the victim/specimen for CTV S2 is not a good move. Will has gathered his army of friends (he did say he had 150 or so friends over for a party) to robo vote for him. Or so it appears. If he gets on the show, who will be making decisions for him? You got it…. his friends. That takes the control away from the viewers/strangers. I have zero interest in watching a guy being told what to do by his friends, who know him. He needs to be told what to do by total strangers, outside of his comfort zone. Allowing the possible victims to be involved in voting a choice is not really OUR choice.
The same applies to all three choices. I am just biased against Will, I guess. No way am I going to waste 6 weeks watching a guy and his 12.5 ego do what his buddies back home tell him to do. The show belongs to us, the strangers. I personally wish we had no say in the choice of victim. We should get to know them on the show, not by their campaigning with their friends. Just my 2 cents as I quit voting. Tell me where I might be wrong, as I kinda hope I am. I’m feeling a big letdown and the show hasn’t even started.

socialchick, my point exactly. I am biased, as we all are. My argument is basically just that voting for the victim is counter to the show’s success. Some viewers will not watch the show if their guy does not win, whereas if it were left to be a surprise, all would learn about the person as they really are, rather than by the way they campaigned. Now if I did not know Will had 150+ friends voting for him, or that he has a 12.5 ego on a scale of 10, I might learn to like him from watching him on the show. But knowing I dislike his personality before the show starts will make me less likely to watch it if he gets on. Point being it would be better for viewer count if we went in blind.
I agree completely, Pur. When I went to sleep Jasper was at 68! Kelly was at a sad 14 or something. Today, they are all even. That’s a lil suspicious. Will and Kelly probably saw the real time results and rallied friends to robo-vote all night/day. I don’t like the feeling of a handful friends diluting the entire vote.
Pur and Lana, the voting just started last night. The Sample size is way too small to infer anything. The drastic difference in numbers last night was more likely due to a small sample size than any one individual being superior to another. After a couple days, after things level out, then you will know who the people really like. And scoalchick made a good point, all 3 individuals have their friends promoting and voting. Isn’t that what friends should do?
My point doesn’t seem to be getting through. First of all, I know the sample size was not small, as ControlTV stated it is the largest ever. I also had 6 people help me test the waters this morning, all running high speed internet & devoting 100% of their machine capacity to the vote. Will still continued to move forward steadily.
My point is not who votes, or how. Point is, we should not be voting for the candidates. It biases our opinions before the show even starts. We will be less enthusiastic to watch if we have formed a negative opinion about the houseguest that is chosen. Why would I want to watch Will if I don’t like his personality? Let’s say Will wins the position. If I had not learned about him beforehand & formed an opinion, I might like him. If I am watching him on the show & he has 2000 friends voting on things for him to do & I don’t know about it, I would enjoy feeling like my vote mattered. Knowing my vote doesn’t matter makes my watching it very unlikely.
If I go in blind, I enjoy it much more. We humans enjoy thinking we truly are in control. We are called controllers after all. I’m not tuning in to watch how his friends control him. I want to participate in a meaningful way, or at least believe I am.
Even if Will has a bunch of his friends “robo” voting for him the masses are speaking loud and clear and Kelly is looking like the favored win with only 11 hours remaining. I think people will still watch the show even if their contestant doesn’t win because they will be able to get revenge on the contestant that does win by voting for them to do insane things.
You realize there’s been over 200,000 votes, and there’s only 113 total comments? So, regardless of how many of Will’s friends comment on his behalf, there’s WAY too many voters for them to impact the outcome single-handedly. Just because other people are voting for someone who you don’t personally want to win, doesn’t mean the voting is rigged. This isn’t meant to be a “shot” at you, but I feel like it’s only right to point out the simple mathematics of the situation.
I’ve known Will since we were kids. Now, we volunteer together! He’s such a genuinely nice guy, but is also (obviously) the life of the party! He would be the PERFECT guy for this show. Let’s get Will on ControlTV!
The sheer number of commenters saying they know Will makes me worry for the results… I can only hope enough strangers see the video that he doesn’t win.

it is plainly obvious to me as someone who watched from day to completion last season that Kelly is this seasons Tristan. He is unsure of what his next step should be and he needs guidance, and that’s exactly where we come in. Still following Tristan on twitter and fb you can see the impact the show has had on his life, Kelly looks like he needs that.

Jasper seems like a nice enough guy but c’mon, HOUSE MUSIC DJ? Terrible. Don’t want to deal with any part of that. Oh whats that? You speak Korean? So do 75 million people in KOREA, no big deal. Goofy dancing? Nope not for me buddy. Will seems like a nice enough guy, if you like watching JERSEY SHORE reruns and drinking Natty ice and paint thinner. Confidence is one thing, overinflated ego is something else entirely. Definitely don’t want to get this guy laid on the show on the off chance me might proliferate.
My pick (if you haven’t figured it out already, is Kelly the GOOSEPOUNDER. Seems genuine enough and i think it would help him, i was also an EMT, most people don’t realize you make like 8 to 9 bucks an hour doing it, you do it b/c you feel its important. Also, did you see him SNOWBOARD?! i didn’t see any of the other two do anything crazy than dance goofy, wear two different colored socks (Oh no you didn’t!) and eat some hot water tuna mess. You want a guy who will do anything? Carving through those trees on a snowboard is f’ing crazy, i literally known people who have DIED doing that. Typically people who come right out and say they are “silly” will do anything and are the life of the party, are no such thing. You want somebody who will do crazy stuff, be fun to watch and won’t be super annoying…K-E-L-L-Y.

Jasper seems like a good pick. He has a lively personality and will be funny and interesting to watch. He seems like his personality is flexible, making him a good choice for this situation and future challenges. Just my opinion.

Heard originally about Season 1 on the Opie and Anthony show, yeah I know, Opie is a coward and said some rotten things, and then again on Craig Ferguson this week. Signed up and will attempt to give the show a chance. But, If Will wins this, I won’t be sticking around long to see another “Big Brother” contestant meathead if his choices are not torturous. If Will does win, I will attempt put him thru hell.

I voted for Kelly. He seems the most genuine of the three and I can see him benefiting the most out of the experience. Some people have mentioned he seems boring, but I don’t see that at all. And if you see him as boring isn’t that all the more reason to vote him in? So you can liven up his life a bit and make him step out of his comfort zone?

I keep seeing people post this as a negative for Kelly…but it’s exactly why you should vote for him. The other two are so full of themselves that they are comfortable in front of the cameras & will be “acting” the whole season.
Ha i find it very hysterical how people feel they can publicly bash someone and judge all of their personality traits off a 1 min promo video ha… If you’re judging based off of the small time frame we had there, wouldn’t you want to vote for someone that you would enjoy “controlling” for 6 weeks.
Based off what they gave us:
I would feel guilty making Kelly do anything that would challenge his moral compass and all I would want to do is try and help Jasper find a girl. As far as Will goes, I would have fun making that kid do things that he obviously doesn’t want to do, and I’m pretty sure that there isn’t much he won’t do (look at what he eats for breakfast ha). All of you people calling him Jersey Shore and a meathead, wouldn’t you have fun controlling someone like that’s life for 6 weeks
Totally agree with you about having a very limited sample taste of these people’ s lives. and of course the clips are all cut up and pieced together. BUT… to me (and I think a lot of people) Will came off as arrogant and egotistical. For some reason right now the media is saturated with people who act like that and I think people are sick and tired of it. There are comments here and below about the merits of him eating tuna oatmeal for breakfast. Really? Thats exciting and daring to you, Jock fuel? And yes, people have been calling him Jersey Shore and meat head mostly b/c they are applicable and meathead is a hilarious term. This show shouldn’t be about punishing meatbags but helping someone who deserves it and will be fun and spontaneous, not helping out a frat boy with a business degree from ASU.
Avid fan of season 1. Cant wait for season 2.
My vote? Going with Will. I think he has the attitude and charisma to excel in this position. I would imagine that the controllers would try to make life a little tough on him at the start, but we would see the most growth from start to finish with this subject.
This season has a chance to be really special. Lets “control” Will.

My first thought was to vote for Jasper after seeing his video because I thought Kelly was just a pretty boy full of himself. Then I saw his interview and when I saw him break up and almost cry, that did it. It seems he likes to help others and the patience it takes to deal with an individual going through Alzheimers is commendable. EMTs are no joke either.

Seriously people. If you think you will have ANY amount of control with Will, you are not thinking very clearly. It is obvious already that the control is with his friends who are all robo voting for him. If he wins the position, the show should be renamed to “Friend ControlTV.” You will never be able to vote fast enough to make any choices for him. This has already turned into the Will show. Enjoy 6 weeks of the same. If you aren’t voting the same as his friends, you might as well forget voting at all. Seth, think seriously about changing this. The sponsors probably do not want to spend their money to only advertise to some guy’s friends. Especially when you’re up against Big Brother.

On a more serious note, you are accusing Will of having his friends robo voting for him but you are “giving your computer a major workout” voting for Kelly and Jasper and trying to gather people to vote against “the victim.” hmmmm. All I am saying is it is foolish to believe Will is the only one who has friends voting for him and that you won’t have control of him if he won. I feel like you will have just as much control of him as you would with Jasper and Kelly. With all that said, I am leaning towards Will because he seems like he would do anything. 3) What makes a friends vote different from yours. I would hope all of Jasper, Will, and Kelly’s friends support their attempt to be on the show. What kind of friend are you to not support them.
4) Honestly, based off of comments you’ve made I’m sure we can assume you are committed to voting (and I wouldn’t be shocked if you’ve made the most votes thus far) but every extra 1,000 votes you make is taking away power from other avid CTV fans. Do you feel good about taking power away from CTV fans who would like to see Will on this show? I respect that you admit you are biased against Will and his 12.5 ego but let other CTV fans votes matter. Whether it’s for Jasper, Will, or Kelly.
As someone who is not a frat brother, family member, co-worker etc. of Will (but would like to see him on the show) you too are diminishing the power of controllers who share my opinion. It is ok to step away and check your email. Maybe take a shower or eat something. I wouldn’t want you to get carpal tunnel before the show even started. The point isn’t to torture him. And it’s hard to make him not be a douche when he kills your interest in watching the show in the first place. I’d sooner not watch the show than play just to be mean to someone. Not to mention 6 weeks is hardly enough time to teach someone to not be a douche. The options you get to pick from aren’t going to exactly be terribly harsh or punishing.

Well it is a competition. I don’t think people are truly “hating” on anyone. Just trying to sway the masses. Jasper is def goofy…just not enough spark and not enough crazy.
I hope the powers that be will analyze the voting IPs & such, then eliminate Will for vote manipulation. Do we all want to watch Will manipulate his way through the show. Think about that folks. Jasper may annoy with his music & goofy shit, and Kelly may be a bit too ‘deep’ for most tastes, but Will has marched into the circle of controllers and bullied his way to the top. This will truly make the choice between Big Brother & CTV much easier. If Will is in ….. I am out. If Will is in …. none but his circle of friends will control him. Jasper seems a little spoiled and all he wants is a girl. Kelly seems boring and I don’t think I’d enjoy watching him at all. Voting for Will all the way.
It really makes me laugh how everyone is knocking on Will but everyone also seems to love Tristan. Did anyone even watch season 1? Tristan went to college and finished with an economics degree and he was in Pike. Sound familiar to anyone? And that’s a huge knock that people are using, “Oh Will graduated from ASU with a business degree and he was in a frat so he’s a cookie cutter and I don’t want to see that.” Tristan had the same credentials!
Did no one understand Will’s sense of humor? Yeah, he was probably half serious about his comments, but he was also half joking. I’d rather have someone with a sense of humor than watching someone who’s going to be all sappy or desperate for a girl.
Yeah, he may have his frat robovoting for him, but what makes you think they’d be robovoting for him during the season? Once he’s on the show, what incentive do all of them have in spamming votes to make him do stuff? The point is to get him on the show, not make him do everything they want.
Even if you guys dislike Will, I’d see that as more of an incentive to vote for him. Make him do things that he doesn’t want to do. As one person put it, try and make is life “a living hell”. He definitely looks like the man for the job. I see Kelly and Jasper whining if you guys make them do something they don’t want, and I definitely don’t want to watch that.

You have to vote Jasper too to eliminate Will from this part of the voting. Even if Kelly takes the lead if Will is in second he’ll advance to the next round of votes. Kelly and, Jasper have to be ahead of Will.

The problem with voting for both Kelly & Jasper is that you are just shifting the vote percentage back & forth between the 2 of them. If you look, you will see that Will’s percentage has held at 39% or above all day.
The only way to pull him down is to concentrate on one other guy (*cough* Kelly) & get him in the lead. That means that Kelly’s fans & friends need to multi-vote continuously… that is what Will’s friends are doing to keep his lead steadily far ahead. Kelly took a 2-3% jump up at noon, which has now been lost, probably because his friends all got on at lunch time for a few minutes. If they would do that every hour, he could gain the lead!
If we concentrate on one guy getting ahead, the other good guy falls behind and thus will be eliminated. We have to work on both Kelly & Jasper to keep them going ahead together or we will lose one of them and losing one means keeping Will.
Ok, Purr I’ve been trying it your way & will keep at it… But I still want Kelly to win in the end.

Jasper has traveled the world, lived in Prague and S. Korea, New York and California, and the other two probably haven’t left California. He is so much more interesting than the other two. He has a passion for his music, Will has a passion for himself, and Kelly has no passion at all. Jasper has to be the answer!

Maybe it will be good that I can’t watch CTV live. I am guessing that I would have Kelly in tears within a week. He couldn’t handle anything like what I threw at Tristan! I see Kelly as far too sensitive & deep. Listen carefully to what he says on his website about himself. Do you really want to have to decipher all his big tangled sentences 24/7. One plus for Kelly is that, should CTV decide to have Marni (life coach) back, he would be hanging on her every word, or vice-versa.
Just rallying for Jasper here. Yeah, he needs to pull his drawers up. Yeah, he may seem a bit silly, but whoever wins will need a bit of silly to deal with the stress, not to mention the boredom. Jasper would cooperate just for the fun of it, and accidently learn more about himself. VOTE FOR JASPER
This assessment is spot on. Jasper seems like he’s fun, adventurous, and quirky – and with lots of growing potential. Will is a joke, and Kelly seems too emotional at this point to handle the challenges.
Did you miss Kelly flying down the mountain via snowboard? I definitely think he’s up for more than wearing different colored socks or eating weird breakfast concoctions. I’d love to throw him off a bridge bungee style, make him wrestle female body builders (sans clothing), or don a condom suit while suffering through a round(or two) of speed dating. As for personality, it takes a person with a lot of it to even want to do this social experiment.
Pounded, good points. I guess it boils down to our own interests. I have zero interest in sports abilities (except baseball) or waxing poetic. Others find silliness or overboard ego to be intolerable. I would be much happier not having any choice in the matter. But I’m hooked. Shouldn’t have even looked.

People keep saying that Jasper seems like a spoiled rich kid, but if you pay attention to his video he said that he taught English in Korea (he didn’t just hang out there), meaning he probably did it through a program that founded his travel. I don’t see how teaching children in a foreign country is the behavior of a “rich kid.”
Moreover, if he had money, he wouldn’t have had to move in with his sister. Besides anything, what’s the chances of a kid from Woodstock, raised by hippy artist parents, coming into a lot of money?
If he’s traveled the world, it means he’s willing to take on adventure, and whether you like his music or not, the fact that he’s willing to express himself so openly on a regular basis means he’s up for the challenge.
Also, he seems like a really genuine guy – he’s honest about his intentions and his shortcomings. If you’re going to vote for someone just because they get choked up in an interview, you clearly don’t get what this show is about (no offense to Kelly fans who would have voted for him regardless of this little breakdown). I just don’t think he has much of a personality. As for Will, I can’t believe anyone (besides his friends) would vote for him. He’s so generic.
From the videos it seems like everyone’s had an easy time picking whatever ammo they’d like to blast each finalist. In all honesty, most of you are shooting blanks. What it comes down to is who’s got the most substance/personality.
jasper, the only place you’d be the life of the party is in pee wee herman’s playhouse. Your dj name is unique to say the least and I guess it shows you have some confidence. I don’t know a single person that would show their face at a gig being called flirtphonic.
kelly, your emt excerpt made me think it was a lost reel from an episode of dr. phil – “small people making a big difference.” Your goose move is interesting but I’m questioning if you learned it from jasper and you two are secret friends. Credibility, minus 2 points.
Followers, companions, and fellow blumpkins, the choice is obvious. Will is the only person who would be able to captivate an audience for 6 weeks. You all may say things as to why you dislike him, but by the second week of the show you’ll end up like purrilla de ville and not be able to even check your email cause you’ll be watching so intently. From a psychologist’s point of view it seems like you’re jealous and don’t want success for the show and a great candidate chosen because you’re not in the final 3. Don’t worry, I’m sure there will be a season 5 and there may be room for you then.

Well, let’s get one thing straight: I’m not a dj, never said I was going to be, but if there was a gig or dj by the name of blumpkins he would be headlining the show and you would be flashing the stage, front row and center.
I’m only speaking the truth and not trying to sugarcoat the elements of this contest. I find it amusing that w half of the comments trying to eliminate Will sound like they were written by middle schoolers with the brain of a squirrel. C’mon, are we trying to watch entertaining television or Kelly as the host of a new season of Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues?
Many people have commented saying “its going to turn out to be another Jersey Shore if Will gets voted in” – Well in perspective, if Jasper gets voted in I feel like I would be watching an episode of MTV’s made “teach me how to 1-2-step”. They’ve already had an episode of a chick along those lines and it wasn’t very exciting.
Scroll up and review how many of the comments have to do with Will as opposed to the other two. Let me save you some wheel’in on your mouse, Will is the subject of the majority of the comments – mostly because everyone views him as the “evil” one of the 3. In retrospect, who doesn’t love a villain? Hate only stems from the yearning of not being able to achieve what another can. Lebron James for example, the world tuned into watch his announcing of teams, and even more people are following his run in the championship whether they love or hate him. Point being, whatever your standpoint, he has captivated viewers on an emotional level which ultimately drives interest. Whether you’re on the love or hate side, you’re already on Will’s bandwagon.

There are a lot of people saying unflattering things about Will. Clearly he is a little too into himself, but he is also the most polarizing person of the group. A successful show does not rely solely on people who like you, ask Howard Stern. By the comments above and sure to follow Will dominates the discussion, good and bad. While I disagree with his tuna and oatmeal breakfast, he is the best of the three people above to follow for six weeks. He seems like he will entertain the most people for the longest amount of time. Jasper seems like a nice enough person, but lacks, in my opinion, the personality to carry a show for six weeks. Kelly on the other hand has more flare with his extreme sports and things of that nature, but he does not seem as entertaining to control as Will. WITH OUT QUESTION Will is a little full of himself, but he is the only one of the three who would be able to carry the show, after all he is a 12.5.
Definitely won’t be tuning in this season if Jasper doesn’t make the cut.

I’ll watch if Will or Jasper win!! Would not be able to deal with Kelly’s acting for 6 weeks. Sounds like there are plenty of doors open for him after watching his videos on his site. In His ControlTV segment he says, he doesn’t feel like he has direction, but on his site he admits he is already well structured and seems to have his head on his shoulders(UCLA graduate) Jasper and Will need this much more!! We want someone who is real, not acting(is he genuine? or Just pounding geese?) Vote Jasper or Will!!!

WTF all of a sudden will is leading by 10 points and the other two are tied for second AFTER THE VOTING CONCLUDED?! I smell rigging.
Not rigging by ControlTV, but by scripts that inserted votes after the poll was closed. Thank you for alerting us. The final results as reported last night are Jasper 29%, Will 35%, and Kelly 36%.
First I voted for Jasper, but I looked at the videos some more. Then I voted for Kelly. He seems like a caring person. He’s also into sports. He was winning , but now suddenly I see that Will has the most votes. I hope the last voting will be between Kelly and him and that Kelly will win.
Kelly did win last night, he was at 36%, Will at 35% and Jasper 29% when voting ended and they first posted results. Not sure why it now says differently… According to the tweets via ControlTV it’s down to Will and Kelly

Haha ! I went over last year’s commentaries . I now remember some of those and mine are there, too, and that it was fun to participate. I didn’t realize that all that stuff is still there. Maybe I didn’t look too closely at the names, so, are there any of you guys that were there last year ? because even those who watched didn’t necessarily leave a comment on the blog.

We are encouraged by the powers that be to vote as many times as we want. I think that’s not fair . I didn’t like it with Tristan and I don’tlike it now. I wish that once you have cast your vote you couldn’t vote again. Tecnically it should be possible to block anyone from voting twice just like in real elections. Now somone can vote hundred or more times or the candidate himself can have hundreds of people maybe from his college or work vote for him. ( If he’s very determined to be on the show in theory he could even offer them some bribe eventhough I think that would eventually come out )
We appreciate the feedback. The fair thing about unlimited voting is that it’s equally unlimited for everyone…candidates, friends, and viewers. One vote per person is actually quite difficult if not impossible to enforce because each IP address is not necessarily a different voter.
I’m sorry, I’m not sure what you mean by that last sentence. Isn’t that what I referred to , that it’s precisely not a different voter but the same one voting again and again from the same IP address ?
We’re saying that there is no practical way to limit it to one vote per person since individual voters can use multiple IP addresses to trick the system.
Excuses. Trying to enforce one per person vote is still better than a free for all. Each person should have to log into their account to vote. Yes, people will have multiple accounts if they can get away with it, but TRYING to enforce 1 per person is better than what just happened. You have already lost me as a viewer this season. Voting on this website DEMANDS that we vote non stop for however long you choose for us. Otherwise it isn’t worth voting. Why bother voting if you can’t vote 24/7 till it’s over? If you vote once, do you think it will matter in the end?
I agree with Willy and purrilla a better voting system is required otherwise any participation is a futile waste of time and effort. To quote Admin “The fair thing about unlimited voting is that it’s equally unlimited for everyone” the unfair thing is if you try it your IP gets banned and you get accused of cheating.
My first thought when the site went down was that the site had been hacked, because after a brief maintence period the only message I got on trying to load the site was “hello world.” This went on for hours until I contacted my service provider to obtain a new IP address, as a part of damage control. At this point my guess was that the hackers simply banned all those IPs that were connected to the site.
I voted long and hard, fairly and above board, using sheer determination and elbow grease and all it got me was a “lock out” on my IP address and an Insult via email after complaining about the lock out. I was asked to refrain from using voting bots in the future by admin, which I took as an implied accusation, which I deeply resent.
Please find a better solution as this current method is clearly flawed.
I agree with purrilla. If a person has 150 friends who each vote and vote and vote again, one person like me can’t compete with that. And as was said before then that same group will dominate in the later votes when we’re supposed to give the candidate tasks to do. . I hope Kelly wins, but if he doesn’t , I still will hang in here and see what happens.
How about a compromise? Limit the voting time to 24-36 hours. This would let everyone vote their hearts out, but we wouldn’t suffer the burn-out that was the result of last week’s vote. All the website has to do is post an Announcement that the Voting will begin at a certain time & will end at a certain time. Give us a week’s notice, this will allow ControlTV to post all the new info & interviews with Will & Kelly beforehand. This seems like a win-win situation.
ControlTv you do need to think about Viewer Burn-Out. I’m not tech savy & was able to log over 2000 votes an hour without any difficulty. I put in my hours & hours, but by the last couple of days I had lost interest, because it is BORING to have to vote like that. There are ways to make it one vote per day & I bet there are ways to limit how many accounts a person has to vote with. Y’all should look into it!

Actually I’d love if all THREE became roomies and we got to vote what particular task they got to do as a group (say speed dating or going karoke) and then voted who got into the spirit of the task best. Look how many votes got generated just by this little vote off!
Sorry Tristan, all the love in the world, but sometimes you muddled thru some of the less desirable tasks because really there were no consequences if you didn’t try your best.

I have lost interest in this show before it even started because of the obvious fact that the only way I could have any affect no matter how small is to vote for hours and hours which I obviously can’t do. Who the hell would want to anyway?
Also to be considered, people such as myself, have no life. LOL. That’s what people say anyway. I DO have a life obviously. We all do, but I am limited physically. My life is whatever I can do to entertain myself from my home. Lots of TV & internet. So while most people have jobs and other responsibilities out side of their homes, I have the time to vote non-stop 24/7 if I choose. That is an unfair advantage with the “vote as much as you can” style of voting. I do not want to spend all of my time voting, but I can. So I am 100% for one vote each. I think that is the only way to even get close to an accurate read on who wants who/what.
Exactly I have no job no school, I too have lots of time to vote yet I really don’t feel like doing that in the least. I tried doing non stop voting for Jasper but it got boring after 5 times of doing it for like 10 minutes each time probably 1000 votes each time or more and yet not even a dent was made.
It’s interesting to see all the commentaries about the voting system. I hope that ControlTV takes note. Some of us are not happy with the unlimited-number-of-votes-per-person system. With all the technology that exists today it should be possible to control how many times a person votes. I would think that at ControlTV they should be able to see where a vote comes from. And when there are more than one vote from the same address these votes should not count.
They say the same person can go on another PC and vote from there again.
But how many different PCs does that person have at his disposition? It’s much more work than just sit at the same computer and vote again and again from there.
Instead he may have 100 friends and tell them to vote for a certain candidate from their computer. ControlTV can’t keep them from doing that, OK. But to have 100 friends voting 20, 30 or more times, that they should be able to see and those votes should not count , That will already make a big difference.
Nothing happening at ControlTV. Total silence. No updates about Kelly nor Will. I’m waiting !

TeaKay, you took the words out of my mouth! We shouldn’t have to go to another website, or to the ControlTV blog site. This is the page where he updates should be.
Kelly would be my top choice. He seems the most interesting. He seems genuine. A nice guy, he has to be to work as an EMT. That’s why someone becomes an EMT, to help people. And he seems adventurous, ready and willing to have fun all the time.
Jasper just doesn’t seem right. I can’t put my finger on why but, he wouldn’t be my choice.
Will just seems cocky. I love confidence in a person but, when someone is cocky, they just seem really obnoxious to me. Honestly, the only reason I would want Will on the show would be to torture him with the things we could make him do and that’s really not nice. As a human being, I allow myself to think these things but, not act on them.
To those of you who still bother to tune in go to ” 20 Questions for Will & Kelly”. Th few of us that are stil hanging in there have put up some commentaries about the long silence of ControlTV.

I last visited this website early in the voting and Jasper was way ahead. I happened to agree and thought the choice of Jasper over two pretty-boy Bachelor rejects was an obvious one. The comment Ileft at the time has been deleted, probably due to a weed reference. Today having seen how the voting turned out, and having read the comments from the people who would be involved, I wish you all well and bid farewell to what sounded like a great idea. Peace!

Jasper seems genuinely down to do anything without much complaint and to be honest, I get the vibe that Kelly is a Tristan part II. I can’t say if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but what I do have to say is that I’m of course VOTING
